Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Clevera Inc. handles information when you visit clevera.com or contact us. Our apps have their own privacy policies: Carir AI and Horoskope AI.
1. Who we are
Clevera Inc. (“Clevera”, “we”, “us”) is a California corporation that builds AI solutions for organizations and its own AI apps, including Carir AI and Horoskope AI. This policy covers our company website at clevera.com (the “Site”) and any messages you send us about it.
This policy does not cover your use of our apps. When you use Carir AI or Horoskope AI, that app’s own privacy policy applies.
2. Information we collect
Technical information sent by your browser
Like any website, the Site can only be delivered if your browser sends a request to the server that hosts it. Our hosting provider automatically receives and records standard request information, which can include:
- your IP address;
- your browser type and version, operating system and device type;
- the page that referred you, the pages and files you requested, and the date and time of each request.
Information you choose to send us
If you email us, for example about a project for your organization, a partnership, press or a question, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything else you put in your message.
The Site has no account system, forms, comments or uploads, and we do not ask for sensitive personal information through it.
3. How we use information
- To deliver, maintain and secure the Site, including detecting and preventing abuse.
- To diagnose technical problems and understand overall traffic to the Site in aggregate.
- To read and reply to your messages, including enquiries about our services for organizations, and to route questions about our apps to the right team.
- To comply with the law and to protect the rights, safety and property of Clevera, our users and others.
5. Links to our apps and other sites
Some links from the Site to Carir AI and Horoskope AI include a referral tag (for example, utm_source=clevera) so the app can tell that the visit came from clevera.com. The tag does not identify you personally.
Once you leave the Site, the privacy policy of the site you visit applies. That includes our own apps, and third-party sites such as the Chrome Web Store, whose practices we do not control.
7. How long we keep information
Server request logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or reduced to aggregate statistics. Emails are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and keep ordinary business records, or longer if the law requires it.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including serving the Site over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither);
- not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email 1corporate@clevera.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also use an authorized agent where the law allows; we may ask for proof of their authorization.
EEA, UK and Swiss visitors: Clevera Inc. is the controller of personal information processed through the Site. We rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the Site and to reply to messages you send us, and on your consent where we ask for it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. International visitors
Clevera is based in the United States, and information handled through the Site is processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
11. Children
The Site is a general-audience company website and is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and UK. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Our apps have their own age requirements, set out in their terms.
12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because the Site does not track visitors across websites or sell or share personal information, there is nothing for these signals to switch off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. If a change is material, we will make it clear on the Site.
14. Contact us
